We are looking to hire a Business Analyst to join our Data team. You will take the ownership of some our most exciting data management projects, data mapping activities, and data systems integrations. You will perform various investigative and analytical function, too. To do well in this role you need an eye for detail, experience in the data space, and an understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases, especially in the cloud space.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Capture business requirements and communicate them in a technical plan
- Undertake data management projects relating to marketing, finance, and compliance data
- Act as the first point of contact for queries from business partners
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data mapping and other required data management documents
- Coordinate troubleshooting of problems in data pipelines and follow-up with the requisite technical teams for resolution
- Coordinate management of users and user roles in the AWS cloud environment
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline/experience
- At least 2 years experience in a data focused environment
- Experience with data manipulation languages such as SQL, and data visualization tools preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work seamlessly in an agile cross-functional environment
- Ability to communicate proficiently with business partners
- Ability to translate business requirements into a technical plan
- Having prior experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus
